Sonia Crawford is the owner of Avánte3. She has a solid background in Technology & Training, with an emphasis in Graphic Design & Multimedia. She has designed and maintained Websites for over ten years and has taught thousands of computer users essential computer skills, for the past twelve years.
Along with operating and managing Avánte3, Sonia also works as a full-time professor, teaching face-to-face and online classes, for Central New Mexico Community College ( formally known as Albuquerque TVI) in the School of Business & Information Technology simply because she loves to teach and pass on knowledge to better the World. Sonia used to work for the City of Albuquerque's JTPA {Job Training Partnership Act} Program, where she single-handedly created the curriculum (now standardized) in beginning and advanced Internet/Web, Desktop Publishing, and Web Design.
Sonia has also taught for ITT Technical Institute, The New Mexico Commission on the Status of Women, Isleta Pueblo Department of Education, The New Mexico's Governor's Career Development Conference, TVI's
{now CNM's} Workforce Training Center, Desktop Solutions Inc., The University of New Mexico's Continuing Education Department , UNM's Center for Development and Disability and Imaging Concepts of New Mexico.
In addition
to teaching, Sonia loves to work in Web media and graphic creation. She
became completely fascinated with the Internet/Web after taking her first
HTML class in 1996 and has been actively working in Web media ever since.
